My client, a successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an ambitious and experienced Chartered Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Leicester. Role & Responsibilities
As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will:
*Lead and manage structural engineering projects involving masonry, groundworks, and temporary works.
*Produce detailed structural designs and calculations adhering to relevant codes and standards.
*Conduct site visits to inspect works and provide technical support during construction.
*Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to deliver projects efficiently.
*Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the team’s technical capabilities.
About You
To succeed in this Chartered Structural Engineering role, you should have:
*A Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE or MICE).
*A minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural engineering, preferably within a consulting environment.
*Proficiency in structural design and analysis software.
*A strong background in masonry structures, groundworks, and temporary works.
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
*A proactive approach to project management and a keen eye for detail.
