Job Description
*Job Title - Technical Assistant 
*Salary - From £28,000 DOE 
*Type - Permanent 
*Location - Home Based (occasional travel will be required to client site) 
*Hours - 37.5 hours per week 
Main Duties
*Prepare, verify, check and approve product documentation in accordance with the client’s requirements taking information from suppliers.
*Reporting any non-compliance against client policies.
*Providing technical and regulatory support to the Compliance Managers and Senior Advisors
*Ensure that the product documentation adheres to client policies and procedures.
*Applying client’s new and updated policies, regulatory and technical requirements.
Qualifications
*Formal Food Hygiene/Science/Regulatory Qualification or Degree or Previous Food Industry Experience - essential 
*Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) – desirable
*Intermediate HACCP (Level 2) – desirable
Essential Experience 
*Previous food industry background - ideally food manufacturing, regulatory or quality assurance or graduate with relevant degree
*Awareness of HACCP, Food Safety and GFSI requirements 
*Awareness of completing on-line retailer specifications.
