Job Description:
Fire Alarm & Extinguisher Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE, with potential earnings up to £50,000 + company van
Location: North London / Hertfordshire area
About the Role
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated professional to cover North London, including north of the M25 and Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on fire alarms and extinguishers.
Key Responsibilities:
*Service and maintain conventional, addressable, and wireless fire alarm systems
*Work with major brands of panels such as Gent or Vesda and other app-based systems
*Handle fire extinguishers and emergency lighting
*Perform Dual Com monitoring and other communication device tasks
*Conduct servicing, fault-finding, and small works
*Adhere to NSI codes of practice and current industry standards (EN50131 PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243)
About You:
*Proven experience in servicing, fault-finding, and small works on fire alarms and extinguishers
*Excellent communication skills
*Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and good at time management
*Strong work record
*Full UK driving license

Working Hours:
*Standard hours: 8.30am-5.00pm, Monday - Friday
