Job Description:
A leading Global Insurance company is recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their Compliance function.

The focus of this role is to be on top of and ahead of regulatory updates and regulatory change. Regulatory Analysis, Regulatory Mapping and Identifying Gaps between the FCA handbook and the business

The ideal candidate will be a regulatory compliance specialist, ideally with a legal background. Someone who is pro-active, enjoys identifying regulatory change and translating regulations to the business.

Location: Flexible
Reporting to: UK Regulatory Director
Business Unit: Compliance

Role Responsibilities:

* Regulatory Developments: Stay ahead by monitoring and analysing UK regulatory changes. Support policy consultation and new regulatory projects.
* FCA Relationship Management: Nurture our regulatory relationships and prepare comprehensive briefing materials.
* Regulatory Transactions: Coordinate regulatory approvals and ensure our reports are always accurate.

Skills and Experience Required:

* Expert Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of FCA rules and the EU regulatory framework for insurance brokers.
* Experience: Have prior experience in regulatory affairs within financial services.
* Analytical Skills: Be able to draw clear and practical conclusions from complex regulations.
* Communication: Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
* Relationship Building: Build and establish credibility, and wield influence with stakeholders.
* Self-Management: Demonstrate high self-awareness and effective self-management.
