Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Days)
Location: Blackheath
Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum (DOE)
Yolk Recruitment is proud to support a leading organisation in their search for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a Monday to Friday, days-based shift.

The Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of site equipment, ensuring smooth operations within a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Carrying out routine electrical and mechanical maintenance on facility equipment.
*Troubleshooting and repairing equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
*Conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.
*Assisting in facility improvement projects, with an emphasis on electrical maintenance.
*Working on pumps, fans, compressors, HVAC systems, steam boilers, wastewater treatment, cooling systems, and utilities distribution networks.
*Keeping accurate maintenance records and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
*Previous experience in a Facilities or Site Services role.
*Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair skills.
*Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
*F-Gas qualification or refrigeration experience is highly desirable.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*Willingness to work in varying temperature zones, including -30°C conditions.
