Healthcare Assistant *Location: Tonbridge

We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our school-based health team in Tonbridge. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to providing excellent healthcare support to students within an educational setting.
Day-to-day of the role: *Provide basic healthcare services to students under the supervision of the school nurse.
*Assist in managing and administering medication as per the healthcare plans.
*Monitor and record students’ health progress and report any concerns to the school nurse.
*Support students with special healthcare needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at school.
*Educate students on basic health practices and hygiene.
*Assist in organising and managing health screenings and vaccination programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant, preferably within a school or pediatric setting.
*NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
*Ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations.
*Knowledge of basic health and safety guidelines.
