Driver Job Responsibilities: ·
Drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely; obeying at all times, the traffic laws and highway code
· Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported to the Transport Manager
· Carry out deliveries and collections to our customers in a professional manner · Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using appropriate documentation
· Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary
· Demonstrate great customer service skills in all aspects of the working day
· Develop and maintain product knowledge in order to ensure accurate and effective deliveries
· Represent the Company and values of the business and portray a professional and business-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
HGV Driver Class 2 / HGV Driver Class 2 / Class 2 Driver / HGV / LGV 2 / Class 2 Driver Class 2 Driver ·
Must hold a Class 2 licence and have experience in driving Class 2 vehicles
· Possess a full and valid Driver Certificate of Professional Compliance (CPC)
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Good customer service skills
