Locum Clinical Rotational Pharmacist
JOB DESCRIPTION Are you a Band 7/8a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Hertfordshire? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
*Job Title: Clinical Rotational Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
*Location: Hertfordshire
*Duration: Ongoing contract
*Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
*Start Date: April 2025
*End Date: Ongoing
*Rate of Pay: £27-£38 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing: Join our client’s team as a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of hospital patients across multiple clinical specialties. In this role, you will:
*Perform comprehensive patient medication reviews
*Provide expert clinical advice on prescribing and medicines management
*Deliver evidence-based pharmaceutical care to optimise patient outcomes
*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment
*Maintain accurate patient records and support medication safety initiatives
You will be working across a range of clinical areas, including:
? Respiratory
? General Surgery
? Paediatrics
? Orthopaedics
? Acute Medicine
? Urology
? Vascular
? ENT
? Renal
? Cardiology
? Elderly Care & Stroke
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
*A current and valid GPhC registration
*Experience working in hospital ward-based pharmacy
*Prior experience in any of the listed clinical specialties is beneficial
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
*A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
