Job Title: Site Electrical Engineer
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
We are industry leaders within the chemical manufacturing industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to be the site discipline engineer for the electrical discipline. Acting as the duty holder in relation to statutory requirements as outlined by COMAH.
The Role:
Provide Engineering and Technical advice to site where needed
Responsible for ensuring the site management system is up to date as per UK legislation
Act as the electrical specialist for excavation and switch room permits
Hold responsibilities relating to DSEAR
Act as Key Member of the emergency response team
May have to act as Project Manager for certain projects on site
What we’re looking for:
*Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
*5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering applications in large industrial manufacturing sites
*Knowledge and applicaition of electrical sstandards and legal requirements
Experienced in the management and maintenance of:
*HV/LV distribution systems
*Earthing and lighting protection systems
*DSEAR
*Electrical inspection and testing
