Job Description:
We are seeking a General Manager to develop and drive forward our Visitor Centre and restaurant. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of food and service while retaining a friendly approach.
The Day-to-Day: *Manage day-to-day operations, drive revenue, and collaborate on exciting events and campaigns.
*Ensure the team provides a professional, friendly, and welcoming service to all guests.
*Train staff to deliver the standard of service appropriate and ensure excellent customer service.
*Recruit, develop, and train staff as required, including supervisory staff.
*Rota service staff ensuring a Supervisor is designated for every shift.
*Control staff costs to deliver required profitability.
*Ensure adherence to Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees and guests at all times.
What we’d like to see from you: *Effective team leadership and motivation skills.
*Ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
*Good timekeeping skills.
*Experience in Bar/Cellar Management.
*Excellent accuracy and eye for detail.
Your Skills: *Proven managerial/leadership experience in hospitality.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Organised and excellent customer service skills.
Experience: *Proven leadership in hospitality and excellent communication and customer service skills.
