Job Description:
Lead the Charge Toward a Greener Future
We’re looking for a driven and experienced professional to champion our clients’ commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. In this permanent role, you’ll be responsible for managing the maintenance of building structures and services across a portfolio of leisure facilities, ensuring full compliance with all statutory and contractual obligations.
With a competitive salary of up to £50,000 plus a company car, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead the optimization of green energy systems, reducing reliance on the national grid and making a tangible impact on carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and continuously improve the Energy Management System to reduce energy usage and carbon footprint
*Oversee energy data management through AM&T systems and energy bureau platforms, supporting ISO 50001:2018 certification and reporting against energy targets
*Manage and develop a team of skilled technicians and supervisors
*Monitor and report on energy expenditure while managing departmental budgets
*Deliver a range of professional services to ensure statutory and contractual compliance across all facilities
*Analyse utility data to identify and implement energy-saving opportunities
*Support capital projects and collaborate with operational teams to implement effective energy strategies
What We’re Looking For:
*Strong knowledge of health, safety, and building-related statutory regulations and codes of practice
*Familiarity with quality assurance procedures
*Excellent analytical abilities and experience using computer-aided facility management systems
*Proven background in energy management, ideally with ISO 50001 experience within the Leisure sector or similar environment
*Demonstrated success in a management role with a track record of developing and leading teams
*Full UK driving licence
