Salary / Benefits: £14.28/hr inc shift allowance
Job Elements: -
*Working shifts, mornings (7am-3pm) and afternoons (2pm-10pm) on a weekly rotation
*As part of the quality team, microbiology testing and reporting of raw materials, bulks, intermediate and final product samples.
*Moisture testing of components.
*Environmental monitoring of manufacturing and testing areas.
*Sampling and testing of manufacturing water system.
*Routine Bioburden testing of manufactured product
*Booking in of samples to microbiology database
*Keeping accurate notes and records of all work completed
*Assisting the microbiology team with any duties required
The ideal candidate will have:
*Microsoft office experience essential (including Excel)
*Must have a good understanding of microbiology and associated techniques
*A degree in microbiology or a related subject/experience working within a regulated microbiology laboratory
*Effective verbal communication to support team working and collaboration
