We’re delighted to be recruiting for a very niche role which would suit a real night owl! The position is for an Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant who can manage the UK and US clients of this specialised Travel Management Company outside of "normal" working hours.
The hours that require cover are Monday - Friday, 8pm - 4am This is an ideal Business Travel Consultant role for someone who is happy to work evenings AND still wants to have some of the day free where they are not sleeping!
Our client specialises in the entertainment sector and so ideally we are looking for a Business Travel Consultant with the knowledge and ability to be able to handle VIP’s and their specific requirements.
Your role as an Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant would include:
Being HOME BASED and answering phone calls and emails from clients based in the UK and the US
Working on Sabre GDS
Reissuing/ issuing tickets
Making any urgent and impending travel requests with ease
Liaising with hotels and travel suppliers worldwide
General administrative duties associated with the role
This is an excellent opportunity if you’re looking for a position that gives you days off in the week (and a lovely lie in!). Sabre GDS experience would be preferred but Galileo/Amadeus would also be considered if you have strong ticketing.
As mentioned, this is a HOME BASED role but proximity to London would be preferred for training, team nights out etc.
