Wild Recruitment are seeking a NHS Call Handler.
Contract: 6-month position with potential for permanent employment
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts between 08:00 - 18:00
You will play a key role in ensuring patients receive timely and efficient support throughout their care pathway.
What you will be doing as a call handler:
*You will be giving people advise and help manage their symptoms telephonically.
*You will be using a software to record patient’s basic clinical information.
*You will direct patients to the most appropriate health care professional once the condition is assessed.
*Schedule and manage patient appointments, including cancellations, reminders, and referral processing.
*No Previous experience needed as full training will be provided.
*Experience within a Customer services is essential.
*Basic computer skills and great telephone manners is essential.
*Preferred experience in Primary Care settings (e.g., GP practice, pharmacy, dental services, NHS walk-in centres).
