Controls Engineer - Coventry (Hybrid) - Up to £45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits - Permanent

What You Will Do:
*Support the process for powertrain control requirements development.
*Design, simulate, implement, debug, test, and research control and estimation algorithms for various systems within powertrain systems.
*Engage with suppliers and other stakeholders to review hardware and software attributes.
*Develop energy management/torque management Software and Controls for electric/hybrid/ICE powertrains.
*Work closely with other team members and customers to deliver controls and powertrain engineering projects according to the plan.
*Utilise automotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.
 What You Could Bring:
*An Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
*Automotive engineering knowledge/experience in design and validation for electrified powertrain systems.
*Experience in automotive control systems software development, data logging, and calibration tools.
*A working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols CANFD, FlexRay and Automotive Ethernet.
*Experience with Vector (e.g., CANalyzer, CANape) and Mathworks tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink) or equivalent.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a willingness and ability to work constructively with a global team.
*A valid driving license for the UK.
