Job Description:
Toolmaker required to join a well-established manufacturer of plastic extrusions based in the Great Barr, Birmingham area. The successful candidate will live within the area and come from a toolmaker/manual machinist background.
Toolmaker Job Overview *Use of Surface grinders, lathes and other manual machinery
*Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
*Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
*Comply with company standards
Toolmaker Job Requirements *Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
*Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
*Good Communication and interpersonal skills
*Good understanding of lean manufacturing
*Live within a commutable distance to Great Barr
Toolmaker Salary & Benefits *Full time - Permanent
*Day shift - Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:00pm (Friday finish at 13:00pm)
*Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
*Competitive holiday allowance
*Pension
