We’re looking for a new People Business Partner to join our People Team on a 12-month FTC.

In this role, you will have the opportunity support as a change agent and a strategic partner to the Retail Operations team. You should be confident and comfortable working at an operational level to deliver the people plan.

You must be people focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in this role, and experience of nurturing a collaborative relationship with the operations team will be key to your success.

Ready to skip the snooze button and get stuck in? Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing day-to-day:

- Business partner the Head of Retail and Divisional Managers to support operational excellence.
- Partner with business leaders and execute long and short-term people strategies that directly support and enable business objectives and the delivery of the wider business strategy.
- Create an inclusive work environment in line with our culture.
- Champion the ED&I agenda across your business area
- Provide coaching to the operations team for initiatives and plans related to succession planning, career path development and performance management.
- Be a champion for organisational change and manage change initiatives with minimal operational risk to the business.
- Provide coaching guidance and support to management across a range of ER issues managing any complex cases to mitigate risk to the business.
- Coach, upskill and guideline managers to deal with their own people issues.
- Drive employee engagement on site, identifying any specific site issues and come up with creative solutions.
- Analyse people data to identify trends that can drive positive organisational culture.
- This list is not extensive, and you will be expected to fulfil additional responsibilities as per business requirements.This is the type of person we’re dreaming of:

- Proven track record at HR Business Partner level, or Senior HR Advisor looking for a step up
- Proven experience working on strategic people plans.
- CIPD qualified.
- Strong coaching and influencing skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work autonomously and come up with creative solutions.
- Confidence and ability to challenge, initiate and manage change.
- Has the ability to prioritise and work under own initiative.
- A full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
