Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of out client who are looking to build their nursery team in Fyfield, Ongar. They are on the search for someone who has a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.
This is an opportunity you wouldn’t want to miss as you would be able to help shape a new setting from the ground up and provide an outstanding early years experience for the children in the local community.
As a Room Leader , you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that will enhance the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children under two years. You will play a crucial role in shaping their early learning experiences while promoting a love for learning.
What Would Be Your Responsibilities
*Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
*Oversee the day-to-day running of the under two’s room, ensuring a safe, stimulating and caring environment for the children.
*Lead and mentor a team of practitioners, providing guidance and support to maintain high-quality care and education.
*Ensure there is a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
*Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
*Manage classroom behaviour through positive reinforcement and effective leadership techniques.
*Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their development.
*Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
*Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the classroom and ensure all materials are safe for use.
*Drive initiatives that promote early childhood education best practices.
Requirements
*A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings and must be Level 3.
*Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool environment.
*Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
*Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage classroom dynamics positively.
*A genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth and development.
*Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to manage responsibilities independently.
*A commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education practices.
