About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Materials Planner / Scheduler to join a leading food manufacturing business. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely scheduling of raw materials and ingredients to support seamless production. You will work closely with suppliers, planners, warehouse, and production teams to manage supply chain complexities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and schedule raw materials and components to meet production demands.
*Raise purchase orders to ensure on time delivery is achieved by external suppliers.
*Monitor inventory levels using MRP/ERP systems to prevent shortages.
*Act as the link between suppliers and internal teams, ensuring timely deliveries.
*Work closely with planning, warehouse, and production departments to align supply needs.
*Proactively resolve scheduling issues, such as ingredient shortages or delays.
*Track KPIs for ingredient sufficiency, scheduling accuracy, and long-term planning.
*Support new product launches and evolving business needs.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in materials scheduling, supply chain, or production planning.
Experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG Highly Desirable
Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, short-shelf-life environment.
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (Oracle experience beneficial).
Ability to work cross-functionally with planning, warehouse, and production teams.
