JOB - Project Engineer
LOCATION - Northampton
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Northampton that is looking to hire a mechanically biased Project Engineer. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical engineering experience and a background in managing engineering projects.

The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
*A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng, MEng, HND, HNC, etc.).
*Strong mechanical engineering background with experience in project engineering.
*Experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including fabrication, machining, and assembly.
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
*Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office is desirable.
The Project Engineer role will involve:
*Managing mechanical engineering projects from design through to production and installation.
*Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
*Working closely with design, manufacturing, and installation teams.
*Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
*Identifying and resolving technical and engineering challenges.
*Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
*Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
