Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
*Internalisation Strategy & Optimisation – Lead the internalisation of equity order flow, optimising trading logic, order routing, and execution strategies.
*P&L Management – Maximise the profitability of the internalisation book while ensuring alignment with risk and compliance frameworks.
*Risk & Compliance Oversight – Define and manage risk parameters, ensuring FCA compliance, adherence to MiFID II regulations, and alignment with Best Execution policies.
*Cost & Pricing Efficiency – Analyse the cost of trading, manage risk exposure, and ensure the firm offers the best possible prices to clients.
*Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring – Leverage analytics to track execution quality, liquidity trends, and market impact, providing actionable insights.
*Technology & Automation – Collaborate with tech teams to enhance trading infrastructure and automate key internalisation processes.
*Market Research & Competitive Positioning – Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market structure evolution.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
*Strong background in equity trading, Delta One, or buy-side trading with experience in internalisation strategies.
*Deep knowledge of trading costs, risk management, and pricing models to ensure effective execution.
*Experience with algorithmic trading, order routing, and execution management systems.
*Familiarity with FCA regulations, MiFID II, and pre/post-trade transparency requirements.
*Proven ability to optimise P&L and develop data-driven strategies using tools such as SQL, Python, or Excel.
*Strong analytical, strategic, and stakeholder management skills.
