Broster Buchanan are delighted to be the exclusive recruitment partner to a business that continues to grow year on year, and is looking to add an ambitious technical accountant to the team.
 
Reporting into a dynamic and personable senior leadership team, this is a broad role where you will have exposure across controls, statutory reporting, tax and projects such as acquisitions and systems implementation.
 
Key duties include:
-Preparing group management accounts with associated commentary
-Support statutory accounts production alongside external accountancy firm
-Take lead on external audit requirements
-Completion of quarterly VAT returns and wider tax queries
-Carry out regular reconciliations
-Review and improvement of controls and processes where relevant
 
Suitable applicants will likely either be working in, or have trained in an accountancy practice, and hold an ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification. Consideration will also be given to those who have group technical experience gained purely in industry.
