Job Description:
Orka Financial is working with a rapidly growing business in Ascot who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to progress within a business and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role is fully onsite with free parking provided and does offer study support.
Key Responsibilities:
*Posting of sales and purchase invoices
*Investigating and resolving unallocated items efficiently
*Reconciling supplier statements and bank statements
*Posting of journals
*Assisting with other finance-related tasks as required
*Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
*Handling finance-related telephone and email queries
*Ensuring accurate and efficient use of Microsoft Excel
*Working under pressure and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
*Collaborating effectively with colleagues and other departments
Key Skills:
*Previous experience in an accounts role
*Experience using Sage 50 (desirable but not essential)
*Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively
*A proactive, problem-solving approach to finance tasks
Salary £24,000-£28,000 - study support + further benefits
