IP Litigation Associate (NQ) – London

An opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified (NQ) solicitor to join the firm’s highly regarded IP Litigation team in London. You will work on high-quality contentious matters, focusing on patent litigation across a variety of technical sectors. The role offers exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes and the chance to work alongside experienced litigators and technical experts in a firm that is committed to excellence in the field of IP law.
Responsibilities:
*Assisting with all aspects of patent litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and preparing for hearings
*Supporting senior lawyers in managing high-value disputes, often with international elements
*Advising clients on IP enforcement strategies and the commercial implications of litigation
*Engaging with expert witnesses and technical specialists to build strong cases
*Staying up to date with developments in IP law and litigation trends
Requirements:
*Newly Qualified solicitor with a seat in IP litigation during training
*A STEM degree is preferred but not essential
*Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to grasp complex technical concepts
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team
