Part-time Housekeeper/Cook Position Available in Cambridge
A welcoming family residing in Cambridge is in search of a dedicated housekeeper to assist them during the afternoons in their lively and cheerful four-bedroom home. This role aims to alleviate some of the family’s daily responsibilities and create a more organised living environment. The family are also looking for someone confident in the kitchen with the ability to cook from scratch.
The household includes three active teenagers and a friendly cat, so a good rapport with both children and pets is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while managing their time effectively. Duties:
- Thoroughly clean and maintain the home to ensure a pleasant living space.
- Handling laundry duties, which include washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes.
- Organising food orders and grocery shopping to keep the kitchen stocked with essentials.
- Preparing simple, nutritious dinners that cater to the family’s preferences and dietary needs.
While it is not required to have a driver’s license for this position, there is a parking spot available if you do.

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 3 PM to 7 PM
Salary: £19 to £20 per hour on a self-employed basis
