Science Technician - Immediate Start in Slough
Are you a science graduate eager to gain hands-on laboratory experience? Looking for an exciting role in a secondary school setting?
We’re working with a ’Good’ Ofsted-rated secondary school in Slough that’s looking to hire a Science Technician for an immediate start. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role of a Science Technician:
*Full-time position: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with a 1-hour break)
*Support science teachers from Year 7 to A-Level
*Prepare and set up practical experiments for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
*Maintain laboratory equipment, stock materials, and ensure health & safety protocols
*Assist in lessons and provide technical support for students and teachers
Who We’re Looking For:
*Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
*Previous experience in a school lab is desirable but not essential
*A proactive and organised individual with a keen eye for detail
