Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator for a large industrial manufacturer in Manchester, where you will be responsible for processing customer orders, managing accounts, and ensuring seamless order fulfilment. You will serve as the key point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, tracking shipments, and resolving any order-related issues.
Client Details
The client we are currently representing are a large-scale & reputable manufacturer that operate alongside a number of subsidiaries across the Uk & Europe, & supplies directly to numerous third-party handlers as well as large household-name brands.
Description
Key responsibilities consist of:
*Promptly and professionally respond to customer requests for quotes, product inquiries, and sales documentation.
*Follow up on sales quotations, negotiate terms, and confirm delivery schedules.
*Efficiently manage online and telephone inquiries with a customer-focused approach.
*Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
*Support the sales team with vendor approvals.
*Ensure all relevant information on supplier portals remains in date.
*Support Sales stakeholders with CRM system looking at incoming enquiries.
*Collaborate with the sales team to identify challenges and implement effective sales strategies.
*Track quotation progress and generate reports on converted sales orders.
*Foster strong relationships with existing customers while actively expanding the client base.
*Prepare proposals and agreements, keeping the database accurate and up to date.
*Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize productivity.
*Attend industry events and visit customer sites to strengthen business relationships.
*Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring resolution and future prevention.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
*Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner and the ability to build relationships.
*Proficient in IT, including experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
*Previous experience in a sales administrator or office-based customer service/admin role.
*Confident, approachable, and customer-focused.
*Exposure to account management & administration duties preferably within a domestic industrial market.
*SAP experience.
Job Offer
*25 days holiday + bank holidays
*8:30-4:30pm shifts
