I’m delighted to be partnering with a high growth, Private Equity backed business, in their search for a Financial Accountant.  The business, based in Manchester City Centre, are one of the most exciting businesses in the North West.

Responsibilities
*Prepare monthly management accounts.
*Ensure the accuracy of the full balance sheet, maintaining a thorough understanding of reconciliations and focusing on high-risk areas.
*Prepare fortnightly cash flow forecasts and oversee the associated purchase ledger, ensuring finance assistants complete all necessary tasks.
*Support the Assistant Finance Manager in completing the monthly consolidation and commercial reporting pack.
*Participate in monthly MI meetings, providing analysis and insights to compare actuals against budget and forecast, helping the management team interpret key financial data.
*Assist in coordinating group-level audit and tax processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and the timely completion of audits across all regions. Prepare technical workpapers as needed.
*Support cash flow forecasting and management to optimize liquidity, ensuring adequate funding for operational, CAPEX, and debt-servicing needs.
*Provide accurate financial forecasts and insights to support strategic decision-making and contribute to both short-term and long-term planning.
This position would be ideally suited to a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
