Job Description:
Purchasing Administrator
Temporary 2-3 months
Loughborough

Are you an organised and proactive professional with purchasing or procurement experience? We are looking for a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join our client’s team and support key supplier relationships to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Description of the role:
*Liaise with external suppliers to track and progress delivery dates.
*Drive suppliers to meet agreed timelines and flag potential delays early.
*Maintain and update the ERP system with the latest delivery information.
*Produce and distribute weekly shortage reports.
*Escalate any issues that could impact production schedules.
*Attend review meetings to manage schedule changes.
*Support purchasing administration tasks as required.
*Occasional travel to UK suppliers may be required.
About you:
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience in expediting or procurement.
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Proficiency in ERP systems (desirable but not essential)
