Dispute Resolution Fee Earner
North West/Hybrid
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
An established and growing dispute resolution team is looking for a fee earner to join its supportive and forward-thinking environment. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse and challenging caseload, acting for independent business owners, commercial tenants, property developers, and private individuals across both commercial and residential sectors.
The Role:
*Managing a varied caseload, including contractual disputes, landlord and tenant matters, and property litigation, with supervision as required.
*Providing strategic and clear legal advice on a wide range of civil litigation matters.
*Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court submissions.
*Liaising with courts, barristers, expert witnesses, and other professionals, instructing counsel when necessary.
*Representing clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions.
*Supporting the mentorship and development of junior colleagues, including trainees, paralegals, and administrative staff.
*Playing an active role in business development, helping to enhance the firm’s civil litigation practice.
What We’re Looking For:
*Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team.
*Strong technical knowledge of contract disputes, property litigation, and landlord and tenant law.
*Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
*Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality legal work.
*Exceptional client communication and relationship management skills.
*Proficiency in IT and case management systems.
*A proactive and ambitious attitude, with a desire to contribute to the firm’s growth through networking and business development.
