Key Responsibilities:
*Full end-to-end payroll processing for both weekly and monthly payroll
*Using Sage Payroll to process payments accurately and on time
*Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and company policies
*Managing payroll queries, working alongside HR to resolve queries
*Handling tax, NI, pensions, holiday pay, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and deductions
*Processing new starters, leavers, contract changes, and any payroll adjustments
*Preparing payroll reports and liaising with finance for reconciliations and audits
Key Requirements:
*Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll
*Strong knowledge of Sage Payroll
*Ability to interpret and apply payroll regulations and employment legislation
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with HR and finance teams
*A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple payroll deadlines
