Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation based in Birmingham, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a key role where you will take ownership of month-end processes, budgeting, and forecasting while implementing process improvements to enhance the overall finance function.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties for this Finance Manager role are:
* Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting models to support strategic decision-making.
* Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and operational efficiency.
* Provide insightful financial analysis, highlighting key trends and variances.
* Support senior management with financial planning and strategic initiatives.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls and governance.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate for this Finance Manager will possess the following:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong background in management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Proven track record of implementing process improvements within finance functions.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Degree in accountancy, business or economics.
