Service Care Solutions are working alongside a local authority in Rutland for a Business Support Finance Assistant (SEN) to join their team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: Business Support Finance Assistant (SEN).
Location: Rutland.
Rate: £15.80 - £16 per hour (Umbrella/Limited).
Contract: 5 months on going.
Working: Hybrid.

Main Responsibilities: *Lead operational support for statutory SEN assessments and the SEN budget process.
*Manage the service Pupil Database and maintain accurate records.
*Be the primary point of contact for all queries related to Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
*Provide efficient responses to parents, schools, and key stakeholders.
*Monitor and report on financial systems, including income and expenditure.
*Ensure accurate and timely submission of data to external agencies, including the Department for Education.
*Organise special educational needs transport in coordination with the School Transport Officer.
*Manage transition processes for children with SEN moving in and out of Rutland.
*Oversee school placements and review contracts for accuracy.
*Coordinate equipment and resources for SEN pupils in collaboration with suppliers and the local authority IT department.
*Lead and organise SEN Panel meetings and interim cover for the Social Inclusion Development Officer as required.
