Job Description:
Our Client, Liverpool City Council, is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*To screen referrals, move cases through the system to the most appropriate team or person in the organisation and provide oversight and professional support to providers and partner agency colleagues.
*To work within the framework provided by statute, guidance, policies and procedures.
*To undertake safeguarding investigations and attend strategy meetings and MDT meetings to progress enquiries as necessary.
*Must be autonomous worker with sound knowledge of Care Act 2014 and all relevant legislation relating to adults with care or support needs.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
*Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
