Full-Time Physics Teacher (April 2025 - End of School Year)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Physics Teacher to join a dynamic team at a secondary school in West Lancs. This exciting opportunity will begin on April 22nd, 2025, and run until the end of the academic year.
As a valued member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Physics lessons to students aged 11-16. You will also be expected to plan and mark students’ work, ensuring that all pupils have the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality, engaging Physics lessons to students in years 7-11.
*Plan, prepare, and mark lessons and homework.
*Provide feedback to students to help them improve and achieve their potential.
*Work collaboratively with the Science department and other staff members.
*Support and monitor student progress throughout the year.
Ideal Candidate:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Passionate about teaching Physics and inspiring young minds.
*Able to plan and deliver lessons that challenge and engage students.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Willing to work hard, including planning and marking students’ work.
The essentials:
*QTS or equivalent
*Experience teaching Physics to KS3 and KS4
*Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
*Full and complete 10-year career history
*Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
*Legal right to work in the UK
