Maintenance Assistant
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Assistant to join their team. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive individual with strong DIY skills and a can-do attitude.
Role Overview:
*Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, decorating, joinery, and basic electrical tasks.
*Assist with deliveries, ensuring they are received and stored appropriately.
*Maintain exterior areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-presented.
*Work with a wide range of people, requiring excellent communication skills.
*Support health and safety compliance across the site.
What We’re Looking For:
*Strong DIY and maintenance skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills to engage with colleagues and external contractors.
*Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is an advantage.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive, can-do attitude.
Job Details:
*Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, 37.5 hours per week
*Competitive Pension scheme, on-site parking, gym facilities, cycle-to-work scheme
*Holidays: 22 days plus 2 statutory days
*Advanced DBS check required
