Are you a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role? We have an exciting opportunity for you in Berkshire!


Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7)
Location: NHS Hospital, Berkshire
Duration: Locum contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour break)
Start Date:April 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay:£25 - £31 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing: Join our client’s team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within a hospital setting. In this role, you will:


* Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to medical staff on the cardiology wards

* Review and monitor patient medication regimes to ensure safe prescribing

* Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices

* Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

* Support dispensary duties and provide medication counselling as required

* Contribute to the development of patient care strategies



Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:


* A current and valid GPhC registration

* Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, ideally within NHS hospital wards

* Experience in cardiology wards is desirable

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

* Knowledge of current pharmaceutical practices and legislation

* Flexibility to work the specified hours



Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
