Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
*Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify mental health needs.
*Carry out mental capacity assessments in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Make applications for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) where appropriate, ensuring legal compliance and protecting individuals’ rights
*Respond to emergencies and crises, providing immediate support and intervention.
*Work with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
*Maintain accurate, clear, and timely records of assessments, interventions, and care plans, ensuring all documentation is in line with council policies and legal standards
Requirements:
*Relevant social work qualification
*2 experience in adult social work, including assessment and care planning.
