Finance Director
Location: Sutton (Hybrid)
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum

Role Overview: We are working with a key client in the Charity sector who are seeking a head of finance to join their experienced and dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and leading a team of five finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of five finance professionals, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and manage financial risks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team and board of trustees.
• Audit and Controls: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring robust financial controls are in place.
• Grant Management: Manage and report on grant funding, ensuring accurate allocation and utilization of funds.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Degree in Finance & Accounting and ACCA / CIMA Qualified
• Experience: Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the charity sector.
• Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of charity finance regulations and best practices.
