Location: Hybrid (London-Based Office)
Salary: £33,000 - £37,049 per annum + 6% employer pension contribution & standard benefits
Probation Period: 6 months

About the Role As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing and resolving claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal obligations while maintaining a high standard of service for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating and resolving complex claims while keeping policyholders informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities * Manage a full caseload of claims, working within delegated authority principles and escalating where necessary.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, policyholders, and third-party contractors.
* Negotiate claim settlements within delegated authority limits.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the electronic case management system.
* Act as the in-house expert for claims-related queries and provide guidance to the team.
* Process claims in line with agreed timescales and provide regular updates to claimants.
* Identify and escalate potential compliance or reputational issues.
* Generate reports and insights on claim trends to support continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For * Experience in a claims handling role or a similar customer-facing, problem-solving position.
* Strong analytical and investigative skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Proficiency in managing caseloads efficiently while ensuring high service standards.
* A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and contributing to a culture of learning.
