Job Description:
Transport Administrator
Location: West, Bromwich
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 DOE
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Transport Administrator on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Full time standard hours 0700 - 1600 Monday-Thursday & Friday 0700 – 1430.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Diary Management, booking MOTS, Inspections, repairs & maintenance and liaising with drivers.
*Updating vehicle matrix (tax / MOT dates).
*Driver training for FORS.
*Monitoring trackers / cameras.
*Updating the insurance.
*Vehicle downloads.
*Answering telephones.
*Driving licence checks.
*Making sure ADR bag checks have been done monthly.
*Booking hire vehicles / off hiring.
*Daily job / trailer list.
*Vehicle inspections (cleanliness).
*Work to current company policies, procedures and legislation.
*Producing reports as and when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
*To be considered for this role you must have previous experience of working in transport and managing the movements of HGV vehicles.
*Must have knowledge of legal requirements including HGV driving hours.
*An adaptive and problem-solving approach to tasks, attention to detail with good organisational and verbal/written skills.
Desirable:
*ADR knowledge/ awareness.
*Familiar with R2C/ RHA/ NavMan/ Autonis/TN360.
*Understanding of O licence requirements.
