Role WeareseekingaRefrigerationSystemsDesignerto supportthedesign,development,andoptimisationofrefrigeration systemsand layouts for commercial applications. This role will work closely with sales, project management, and technical teams to provide engineering expertise, ensuring our solutions meet customer requirements, industry standards, and energy efficiency targets.
Refrigeration System Design & Engineering *Developdetailedrefrigerationsystemdesigns,layouts,andschematicsusingAutoCAD,SolidWorks,orsimilardesignsoftware.
*Selectandspecifyrefrigerationcomponents,includingcompressors,condensers,evaporators,andcontrols.
*Designenergy-efficientandsustainablerefrigerationsolutions,ensuringcompliancewithregulatorystandards.
*Providethermalloadcalculations,pipeworksizingfordirectexpansionrefrigerationsystems(Co2)andsemi-plugin(waterloop) hydraulic calculations, and airflow analysis to optimise system performance.
Technical Support & Collaboration *Workcloselywithsales,projectmanagers,andinstallationteamstoprovidetechnicalexpertiseandsupport.
*Assistinthedevelopmentofnewrefrigerationtechnologiesandsysteminnovations.
*Conductfeasibilitystudiesandassesssiterequirementstodeterminethebestsystemconfigurations.
*EnsurealldesignscomplywithF-Gasregulations,HACCPguidelines,andenergyefficiencyrequirements.
Project & Customer Engagement *Supportcustomerconsultations,technicalpresentations,andproposaldevelopment.
*Assistintheevaluationofnewproducts,technologies,andrefrigerantstoenhancesystemperformance.
*Providetechnicaldocumentation,manuals,andtrainingmaterialsforcustomersandinternalteams.
*Creationofprojectdocumentation(drawingpipesystem,PIDDiagrams,cablelists,heating&coolingloadcalcs)

Required Qualifications & Experience
*Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
*2+ years’ experience in refrigeration system design, commercial cooling, or HVAC engineering.
*Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for designing system layouts.
*Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and energy efficiency principles.
*Understanding of F-Gas regulations, natural refrigerants, and sustainable refrigeration solutions.
*Ability to analyse technical data, perform calculations, and optimize system designs.
*Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
