Joiner - Responsive Repairs Location: South Shields, South Tyneside, NE32 3DP
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
Job Type: Contract
The Role Our Client is seeking a time-served Joiner to join the Responsive Repairs Team. You will be responsible for carrying out joinery repairs and maintenance across council properties, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
*Performing joinery repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
*Working as part of a responsive repairs team, reacting to urgent and routine repair requests.
*Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
*Following health and safety regulations, including risk assessments.
*Using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with council procedures.
The Candidate To be successful in this role, you must have:
Time-served Joiner with relevant experience in repairs and maintenance
Essential training certifications:
*Manual Handling
*Asbestos Awareness
*Abrasive Wheels
*Working at Height
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Commitment to providing excellent customer service
