Job Description:
The Role
*Develop a strong relationship with clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled
*Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients, establish and maintain active relationships with these people
*Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required
*Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients’ needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients
*Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities
*Cross-sell and up-sell opportunities are fulfilled
*Undertake renewal market presentations/negotiations and make appropriate recommendations to client
*Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market as required
*Design programme and pricing structures to best meet the client’s needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition
The Requirements
*Good knowledge and understanding of the Marine Hull insurance market both UK and Internationally
*Preferably educated to degree level or relevant industry experience
*Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
*Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting
