M4 Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV 2 Drivers for our client in Colnbrook. This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.
Shift & Duties:
*Hours: Early starts between 03:00-05:00am
*Weekly Hours: 8 hours min a day
*Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Competitive Pay Rates:
*Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) - £17.33
*Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) - £19.98
*Overtime £26.00 after working 40 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities:
*Trunking Operations: Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
*Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
*Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
*Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
*Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
*Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
Requirements:
*Valid UK Class 2 (C+E) License
*Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
*No more than 6 points on license
*Clean DBS check
*Level D / Cargo Operative training (can be completed online)
*5-year employment history for background verification
