Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5t/Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their team based in Harlow. Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a 7.5t vehicle while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*Safely operate a 7.5t CVehicle/ Class 2 (Category C or C1) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections.
*Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes.
*Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
*Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded securely, with proper handling techniques.
*Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
*Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
*Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
*Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including tachograph rules and road safety laws.
Qualifications and Experience:
*Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license.
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
*Previous experience in a similar driving role as a Class 2 Driver .
*A strong understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
