Job Description:
QA Analyst
£40,000 - £46,500
Manchester - x2 a week
Our client, a major player in the gambling industry, is seeking a QA Analyst to join their expanding team. This role is based in central Manchester, with a hybrid working model requiring two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
*Analyse requirements documents to ensure clear understanding of business and technical specifications.
*Develop test plans and test scripts to agreed standards.
*Perform functional and regression testing on software projects.
*Accurately report and manage defects using Jira.
*Create and maintain product knowledge documentation.
*Provide support for functional queries following software releases.
*Contribute to the testing strategy and planning for Sportsbook projects, working with senior testers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
*Proven experience in commercial software testing, including API, Database, and web testing.
*Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test scripts, defect reports).
*Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
*Ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Experience working on frequent software releases.
*Ability to adapt to changing requirements.
*Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Proactive approach to professional development.
*Experience with Agile development methodologies.
*Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills.
