Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a caseload of housing disrepair matters, primarily focusing on pre-litigation stages.
*Provide clients with expert legal advice and support, ensuring their claims are effectively managed.
*Investigate claims, gather evidence, and liaise with clients and third parties as required.
*Draft legal documents, including letters of claim and witness statements.
*Work efficiently to meet deadlines, maintaining high standards of client care and service.
*Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure the best outcome for clients.
Essential Criteria:
*Minimum of 12 months’ experience in housing disrepair, ideally at a pre-litigation stage.
*A sound understanding of relevant legal principles and housing law.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters to clients clearly and professionally.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Organised, proactive, and with a keen attention to detail.
*Experience in case management systems and legal software.
