The Role
We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer with a minimum of three years of UK building services design experience. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge mechanical building services solutions.
Key Responsibilities *Develop mechanical building services designs that meet current legislation and engineering standards.
*Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
*Assist with design drawings, calculations, schematics, and project documentation.
*Liaise with BIM coordinators, clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
*Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality management policies.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with technical consultants and suppliers.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications & Experience *Degree in engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
*Proven track record in building services design engineering within a design office and construction environment.
*Working towards or holding a Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) accredited qualification such as BEng (Hons) or BSc.
*Experience in modification and production of mechanical documentation.
Skills & Competencies *Proficient in engineering design software, particularly Revit.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-player mindset.
*Highly organized with good time management skills.
*Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
