The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Business Payments is a new role within our Marketing team and will play a critical role in driving the success and evolution of our Business Payments proposition.

Our payment network connectivity includes CHAPS, Open Banking, SEPA, SWIFT and account issuance in 11 currencies. We are principal issuing members of Visa and Mastercard across UK and Europe.

Our regulatory permissions and governance structure underpin our business. We are regulated and supervised as an Authorised Electronic Money Institution (AEMI) in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority and in the Netherlands by De Nederlandsche Bank.

The Role

Modulr’s Vertical Solutions proposition aggregates our range of products into solutions that solve specific problems in a range of industry verticals including Travel, Merchant Payments, Lending and Wage Advance.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Vertical Solutions will be responsible for designing and executing the product marketing plan across our key industry verticals to a target market across the UK and Europe.

The Marketing team is a core part of Modulr and works cross-functionally with sales, product, ops and compliance functions to deliver on our go-to-market objectives. This role reports into the Marketing Director and as part of your remit, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team of direct reports and agency resources.

Key responsibilities *Become an expert on businesses’ challenges in Modulr’s key verticals.
*Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to help inform Modulr’s positioning.
*Develop product messaging that differentiates Modulr’s products in the market, creating targeted plans and campaigns for specific groups within our target verticals.
*Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans of new products and services, including: *Target market messaging and value proposition. o Coordinating extensively with product development teams on schedules and customer launch activity.
*Development and incorporation of digital only or physical events and conferences for promotion activity.
*Development of promotional campaigns and press releases in coordination with the broader marketing team / agencies.

*Work closely with marketing campaign executives to develop ideas, set out plans and execute comprehensive campaigns.
*Develop relationships with key clients and broader industry experts to help inform your approach.
*Working with internal teams, copywriters and external agencies, author and coordinate high quality content such as product demos and guides, case studies, videos, website & landing page copy, and blog posts.
*In coordination with the product management team, develop insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas.
*Work with the marketing department to ensure consistency in promoting corporate identity.
The Team

The Marketing team is a core part of Modulr and works cross-functionally with sales, product, ops and compliance functions to deliver on our go to market objectives. This role reports into the Marketing Director. This role is part of a cross functional senior manager group, encompassing sales, marketing and product, focused on rapidly growing our Business Payments portfolio. As part of your remit, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team of direct reports and agency resources.

About you

You will have a track-record of delivering results in a fast-moving business where complexity and ambiguity is the norm. Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration is essential to being successful in this role. *A stellar track record in product marketing (including design and hands-on execution) driven by curiosity, experimentation and continuous enhancement.
*Preference for experience within the payments industry with a focus on B2B models. We will consider SaaS and B2B technology backgrounds with strong community building experience.
*Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent copywriting skills and strong creative flair with a proven portfolio.
